TIFTON, GA – December 15, 2007 – Beginning in 2008, Ag-Networks will collaborate with Blue Diamond Staffing to provide payroll and educational services to groups of H2A and H2B guest workers that are employed by American employers. These guest worker programs are regulated by the federal government and instituted to help employers fill positions if domestic workers are unavailable.
Blue Diamond will offer the Ag-Networks Pathway Payroll Program as a value added feature that strengthens their competitive advantage over other professional staffing services. Their workers, primarily from Central and South America, will benefit from being educated on the mainstream financial system of the foreign country in which they work. Ag-Networks program is designed to help workers overcome the barriers associated with working abroad by providing educational workshops and access to phone and Internet banking solutions in multiple languages.
“The collaboration with Blue Diamond provides us with the ability to serve their client base and have a model for working with other staffing companies and labor contractors. Guest workers are becoming more popular among American employers needing to fill temporary positions within their operations. Helping them provide a safe payroll solution is important because of the dangers associated with workers carrying cash in their pockets.” stated Michael Hammond, Co-founder/CEO of Ag-Networks.
“Blue Diamond Staffing is glad to have Ag-Networks provide their payroll and educational services to our employees. We were pleased too see their level of professionalism and dedication to provide innovative services. The Ag-Networks financial education allows employees to be more involved with their financial options. This provides our employees a sense of security and belongingness, something that is very important to our firm,” stated Giselle Morales, International Recruitment Specialist an co-founder of Blue Diamond Staffing.
