During a 30-day free trial period, the Vidalia onion grower’s H2A guest workers from Mexico will be provided with a payroll debit card that comes complete with education provided by Ag-Networks. The Pathway solution is designed to provide cost savings to both the farm and its employees while educating both on the security benefits associated with direct deposit and electronic banking.

During the initial stages of implementation, Ag-Networks staff members will host workshops designed to educate workers on properly using the debit card in the marketplace, accessing cash at ATMs, identifying exploitive service providers, using the card for money transfers, and security features provided by the card solution.
